Last night was fun, and Thing2 showed self-restraint! That's refreshing and wonderful.

What did you do last night?

So 🐭 has a program for CMs called "Magic Backstage." Sweepstakes where you may win a special event or gift, which is pretty cool. 🐭 benefits in that, if they have an idea/ride/event they want to test, they have the BEST group of people to use an teste subjects; CMs. I enter for everything I can every Thursday.
2 weeks ago I won an after-hours event at the Zoo; a 'dance party' at AvatarLand. Small crowd, ride the rides by just walking on (there are only two...), desserts & lemonade, and a souvenir glowing ice cube. For free? I'll take it!
Asked the fam, Thing2 wanted to go, so... we went! Got home at midnight, let him sleep till 7, made him a big breakfast and helped back his lunch. He's off to school; I'd told him 'You can party mid-week, but you have to maintain your responsibilities if you do.' so he is.
I am working from home, maintaining mine.

oh... you mean... we're NOT supposed to be up past midnight if our day starts at 7?

I am WFH today; I plan to do good writing and research, eat good meals, and take a walk around lunch. I should be doing it every day at work, there's a walking path. I will put it on my calendar, that will help.

Clearly their best chance to get a girlfriend these days is to get an axe and gift it to her "I thought you might want to raid a village with it" and if she says that's her plan, suggest maybe you could come with her... she uses the axe, you get the spear.. .and popcorn
