Okay. Grim times require pooka solutions. We have two water bowls for dogs. One big, one small, dogs prefer the small bowl every time. However, the nearly empty big bowl has caught one of the cat's interests because I dropped an ice cube, picked it up, and put it in the big bowl. Cat is now at war with the ice cube, putting her little paw to swat at the cold 'puck' of it, then grouse that it is cold and wet, then swats it again. Repeat
