Too much food?

There's a 'meal' scene, a breakfast scene, some involve food fights... after the first act it's all good but food is a pain in the ASS for Props.

Oh. Crew is probably well fed

Depends. I worked at a dinner theatre so we served a "7 Brides Stew' that I stole for the stage, and oatmeal.

The food was only one piece, but yes. It's personal.

For the restaurant scene, where Millie is serving all the dudes?

I mixed up sugar snaps and cocoa puffs for a browny-tan "stew" that they could eat.

Miss Shearer, the *&^^% Home Ec teacher who did the costumes, decided not to stay in her lane

She was a teacher, of course, and prone to power trips

she didn't LIKE the choice I'd made about the practical food

oh dear

(We had stew on the dinner theatre buffet, so I just grabbed some....)

So she went behind my back on opening night, and replaced the "stew" with a giant gob of canned corned beef hash

cold, congealed, corned beef hash

Oh.. yuck
