I'm mostly decompressing. Lots of grading today. Honestly...I'm being really GENEROUS on these grades, and some kids are still complaining.

There's this English teacher who teaches various electives. Students do maybe one quarter of the work she assigns, and she still gives them 80s on their quarterly average. Then they don't know why they're not passing my class when they do the same thing.

Incidentally, she's the same teacher who taught my college-level courses while I was exiled to the middle school for a year. The reason I got called back to the high school was that the college was NOT having this woman's bullshit and demanded me back as instructor for those classes.
