Specifically, this one girl who pitched in my rec league growing up. Janelle Pepe. Got damn, did she have a fastball. Tall, broad-shouldered, strong.

A friend of mine shared (on FB) an Instagram video of a softball player who made me think "Dagmar" but I don't use Instagram myself so I can't share it here.

When I was in middle school, everybody thought I should play basketball because of my height, but I just didn't get it.
