I had Eve going rings around a red hat on the floor. She was determined to get one good swipe on tassel toy!

LOL It's fun when they're little and are made of PLAY! We have a toy, a hollow plastic ring with gaps in the side and a ping-pong ball in the hollow, so they can bat the ball around and around the ring. When the kittens were young, that would keep them busy for HOURS.

Well the worry is they haven't eaten drank or pooped yet while here (We got all the stuff out) but they may be just a touch tired/excited

Worry if it's been 24 hours; cats will hold off on that kind of thing if they don't feel safe/at home. It's survival/defence thing.

Mmph. The English Regents exam (the big state exam for 11th graders in NY) is optional this year. Taking it has some advantages if you score well (access to higher-level classes in college, for example), but it's not required for graduation the way it is in a normal year. I'm not sure how many of my students are planning to take it, and that's making it hard to figure out whether or not I should do much about test prep in these last classroom days. Hmph.

Last classes are on the 14th, I think. Then there are testing days (proctoring) and finishing grading the last assignments.
