I was offered two possible procedures...one with regular incisions, then sort of sliding the mesh into place, outpatient procedure but about four weeks of healing before back to normal. The other robotic laproscopy, more intense, but the mesh gets secured more soundly, an unpleasant day after (so they'd keep me in the hospital overnight), but should be back to work in a couple of days, and back to normal in a week or so (also tiny incisions that just get glued shut).
