Yup. Little bugger has been snitching in our kitchen for a week. Told house mates. They assured me they'd pu up some traps. They didn'tt work. I hear noise. I see the 'bread' is moving from where it was .. so I brought MY Glue trap from down stairs, set a small bit of the bread on it.. and waited.

My housemate, B's daughter, is a softy.

Oh, yeah. Glue traps are upsetting.

So.. I wake her with a call, she uses oil to loosen the mouse...

It's an awful way to go.

and it is free of the glue trap, and now is instead in a small box with holes in it, a bit of water, and that bread piece.

Tomorrow the mouse will be driven at least three miles away and released in the wild

But now it needs to be relocated quite a distance, yes

Is the box somewhere mouse can't escape if it chews through cardboard?

One of my Housemates has been tempted to get a cat when she gets the right one. I have left her a PM that she has one. me.
