Our own dog was stressed last night. We moved her spot for the gift passing and such. Her comfy dog bed. Shoved out of the room! Treachery!

She huddled by my feet and needed a lot of pets now and then.

It's returned now ,so she's better, but she is still blocked from the Christmas tree

which isn't fair, because before it went up THAT was her spot.

Our tree is ON TOP OF Jewel's kennel.

To be fair, her kennel is a palace.

Wow....I was able to get up and hit the head without her leaving.

She uses her paws so expressively. Like hands.

She is curled up here next to me on the bed. She needed help coming up b/c she didn't believe she COULD jump up on the bed.

An interesting moment; she got up and after some settle time she started going after her itchy/scratchy spots. I took over for her. She let it go and even let her eyes droop and go sleepy. THEN! ANOTHER SPOT!!! And I take that over and..... her eyes go snoozy.

I wonder if some of her issues aren't attention related?
