I remember a comic where Batman went time traveling... met Sherlock Holmes... and the two solved a crime together. Bruce returns, tells Alfred the man was Brilliant but aggrivating in his arrogance. And Alfred coughs and mentions Bruce's great great aunt.. maiden name? Holmes.

I had a love hate with Adam West's show. On one hand... as a young kid I loved it. then I got old er and I hated it because folks assumed all comcis/Superheroes were in that style. Then the dork ages of the 90s tried to OVER Grim everthing and I was like "I may owe Adam West an apology"
