Oh, my favorite Shrew is the production by the Royal Shakespeare Theater, performed at the Globe. It's traditional, but so very well done! And the actress playing Kate does such a splendid job parsing the final speech to make it palatable for a modern audience.

Some fun fourth-wall demolition at the beginning of the show, too.

It can be a hard one to parse nod

it's a documentary about the Shakespeare in the Park production of Shrew with Raul Julia and Meryl Streep, with lots of interviews with them two of them about their process/the script/Billy in general
