((chuckle)) So Thing2 was not ready for a 5 mile hike. His feet are talking to him about that decision. So to help with the discomfort, he's masking-taped his slippers to self-made cardboard sleds. Not using them, since he's plonked in front of the video games.... but.

Oh, this 5 mile hike TRAUMATIZED HIM. ((chuckle)) I have a pic of him flopped in the back of the van for clean up, red-faced on his fair skin and sweaty. It was good for him. He is, genuinely, understanding of my once-daily foot pain.
