And yes. She would not want to see anything constructed that did not inspire some bit of admiration or curiosity or imagination in the casual viewer. The kind of building where you can't help thinking, "Now, that's nice...I wonder what kind of people live there? Probably professors or artists or museum curators...." Not the kind of house that just seems sterile and without character. Not TOO much character, mind you.
