I've WORKED at KU. I know those students.

And a lot of my CURRENT students are coming out of HS with low GPAs

They aren't dumb - they're often disadvantaged and unsupported.

they don't get tutoring, they don't get aides, they are grappling with all kinds of shit these jokers can't even imagine... it is a GREAT thing there are schools out there that give them a chance.
