And hey, how come YSU's theatre dept. didn't release a Statement on Social Media in response to something going on in a totally different company?

Because taht would be the very definition of virtue signalling?

In order to be innocent, you have to be loud about others guilt? Or it's suspicious? Okay, that kind of thinking is kind of chilling in a "You're not cheering enthusiastically enough for beloved leader. Clearly you must be an insurgent"

And Innocent until proven guilty may not be satisfying, but it's the better way in the long run.

And I do not want to invalidate anyone's feelings, but... this guy is being painted as a monster when all he did, from the most extreme version out there, is say "I don't know how to deal with this"

I don't know all the details but I feel sorry for him from what I hear.
