At 🎬 , in an hour and a half I had 2 guests accuse me of profiling them. It seems the proof of the accusation was that I was performing my duties as trained. I know this was what I was doing, because I train others to do them like that so I do it a lot.
After lunch, I was training at one of the 🏨 . My part of the training was to take over the :male-police-officer: kiosk at the entry of the 🏨 so the person who was on that post could get the training from my partner.
A :face_with_symbols_on_mouth: drove up, announced that I must not have worked there very long b/c he didn't recognize me, waved a grimy drivers license and announced he had a reservation for dining. I had to take a close look at the DL and then went to confirm his rez but his name was not on the list. That was when he became abusive and said I was illiterate and unintelligent (I am paraphrasing the gentleman's words). He produced what looked, in the flash I was able to glimpse, a reservation print out. I copied down the number and went inside to see if we could look it up by that, to the sound of his merry carping and threats to have me fired.
Turns out we can't look it up that way, and the person whose post it was told me to just let him through since he had the print out. And so I did.
So that was my day.
