Y'know...you laugh, but I've done weather magic in groups, and there's actually an International Weather Workers Union among pagan groups. They coordinate weather workings because if you get too many people trying too many conflicting energies...well.... gestures

I know that around here (And probably further) there's an anecdote about how a beginner in weather magic breaks out the tools, and tries to stop a downpour. The intemeeidate tries to redirect it... but the true master gets a beer, walks out in the rain and she wishes it well
