Momocking or DadMocking showed up and joined Ding-a-ling on the bee bath for a drink. Ding went into full feed-me-damnit mode, chirping and fluttering and hopping. Parentbird took a good drink and flew off. Ding watched for a moment, motionless. Looks like Ding has followed.

Go for the milk wash brushed on before baking, rather than the egg wash! The egg wash is shiny, but came out patchy and uneven, and the milk wash gave it a nice color

The extra step of folding the dough and rolling it up for the loaf gave it extra structure and fluffiness, the rolls are good but are a bit... biscuity? Not bread-flakey
