Symon is more reasonable, and understands that it wasn't a direct insult intended on Ann Marie. His view right now is that he has Adam written off until be actually turns into a fae and then can be judged on that merit, OR that he does somethign else dumb or interesting that gets his attention

and OH LORD a day. The old shitty contractors put the wrong lids on the wrong paint cans so we got the wrong paint

Sent gyrf with the contractor (because his car overheated) to drive back to benjamin moore to see if they will refund the purchase because it was already mixed...

Luckily it was just one quart. Paint is EXPENSIVE.

Worst case scenario we're out $28 and have extra trim paint... which we have a gallon of already...

But I ordered a gallon of white paint for the garden fence from Home Despot. They missed the send window, delayed deliver, and there was NO WAY to contact them except by phone during certain hours and who does that these days?

I asked them to cancel the order and refund the money. They did. They also SENT THE PAINT.

Free paint

I got it weeks late, but I got it. I'd also bought the same paint at twice the price in the meantime.

So now after QT I get to bring the expensive paint back, and I have free paint.

There is a law that states that if any vendor sends you a product you didn't order, you're under no obligation to pay for it. A holdover from ancient scams where they would give you a 'free' book or something and then you're signed up to pay for all the rest they mail, unless you return them
