Boys start their fitness requirement for Scouts today; we all forgot that after our walk, which, happily, counted for the requirement but still. So we had to wedge that in before school.

So we have a resident black snek in our yard. At least one (they can be hard to tell apart).

Yesterday while finishing the garden work I notice him (her?) going into our garage. Great.

Told the boys, we stayed away from that area which happily was on the other side from the gardening stuff.

A few days before that we found her(him?) curled up under our rosemary plant.

This a.m. I found a FULL LENGTH SHED under the citronella plant on that side!!!

I have it set up to dry. Showed the boys. It's tail to head.... so cool!

Is that a danger snek or a live and let live snek?

DH found 2-3 babies under our trashcan shortly after we moved in and we've had 'em around since.
