Well, Dagmar would never think of ordering a commoner whipped or the like, or thrashing them for being uppity, but in some lands... well, it happens. The DeBukes know of such stories, are only now really getting to know the good ones. It's not so much Sally Mae thinks Dagmar would, but she does think she should have known better in the first place. AND she does realize she was wrong.
