It's a custom thing- instead of 4 x 10 hour days, it will be retained as if we are working a normal schedule of 5 x 8, 40 hour week, so that it doesn't affect being considered 'full time' for benefits, but effectively we'd be on a 'simmer' / almost like On Call situation. If something comes up you'd be expected to be able to get to a machine and fix it - but we could go to the gym, run errands, etc as long as any emergency could be handled in a reasonable response time
