Sadly, hotel in Covington, LA is relegated to hotel coffee. The hotel in the French Quarter was a few steps from beignets and real stuff

But it DOES have a little office nook and kitchenette!

(Not that with all the family here there will be ANY LACK of being fed)

Even hotel coffee is better than no coffee. A little.

It will get me through processing the Work Order that came in yesterday, and waiting to see if boss wants me to call back the lead that came in last night. I hope he handles it!

Long story short, he has kids in cabin this Christmas and his wife isn't there. Partly because he was an unpleasant ass, also because she's feeling sick.. but she must be lying about being sick! And she's making their daughter cry (nevermind the onlyone gaslighting the kid about how maybe mom will show up and then mom doens't want to try is him) and and of course how SELFISH she is for wanting him to sign the papers (After 2 and ah alf years of trying) when it's CHRISTMAS etc

So sh'es at home, he's there, but she still reads every damn text as he chews her out for 2 hours on it.

I'm like "Just set it down, don't look" but she can't stop herself...
