The great dragon relaxed upon his hoard of treasure, bored. He didn't expect the heroes to be so quick in coming, and he also didn't expect the heroes to be so quick in leaving.
However, he was quite pleased that they managed to get a hold of the first stone they'd discovered, and his eyes lit up for a moment. He was going to give them something for a good reward, and for that, he was glad. The heroes were good at their jobs, and this had all seemed to have been an adventure for them.
"What a great time," said the Great Dragon, as he rose from the pile of treasure. He looked up at the sky, his eyes twinkling, and he smiled.
"That'll do," he muttered to himself. He picked up a stone.
