My trainer just finished a nutrition class and I offered to guinea pig a keto diet with him for a month, it starts Friday. I am scaredcited about what this entails

LOTS of fatty meats, mmmm.

Neither of us are looking for the quick weight loss effect that keto is often used for, so it will actually be significantly more calories than I normally intake

Um...I did an audiobook about keto a while back. After reading all that (which was very pro-keto), I think the premise of keto is dangerous. Be careful!

It definitely can be especially if you have any underlying medical conditions. I'm in pretty great health and will have my trainer monitoring it too. I am interested to see the effects.
