Well, it MAY have been a housemate, but I went out side to bring the trash cans in...

and it looks like AFTER it was picked up, some jackass threw a bad tire in a bag in OUR container.

Which is a minor thing in this mixed up world. I get it, but it still feels like a violation of personal space, and now we're stuck with it (and the lack of garbage space) for 7 more days

Honest to gosh, it's the little things, and I suspecct some of our neighbors don't like us, but there's a litter bug that seems to think the bush near our mailbox is ideal anyway. Every other week I end up collecting a caprisun container there.

If i had the spare cash I might just set up a remote camera and taking pictures for public display

Mmm. Check your local codes. There may be an ordinance against using other people's trash receptacles. If so, you should call law enforcement (the station number, not 911) and report a violation of the code, and ask if there's anything they can do to help. They might post a surveillance cam for you, I don't know.

Well, I have housemates so it's a commitee thing here before I call the Fuzz 😉

Surveillance cam systems can be pretty cheap nowadays, BTW.

Hoo boy. Sorry, was AFK. Handyman arrived. I asked how he's doing...and it's not good. Turns out the family whose property he lives on lost their five-year-old in a drowning accident this weekend while vacationing in California. He's very close to the family and all the kids, so this is hitting him hard. He still wants to work, but days might be short for a bit.
