After the service...and after the announcements about where the reception would be...the Deacon retakes the front of the room. "I think that Robert's wife expected me to refer to him as 'Bob' throughout the ceremony. However...." and then he went into a five-minute diatribe about how he'd actually done the right thing by calling him "Robert" throughout because that's the name he was baptized under and so it was his name in Christ. FIVE MINUTES...when really all he should have said was, "I'm so sorry for that error, that was my mistake."
