Been through this with both my parents and it SUCKS but... yeah. If NOTHING else, if you (in general) believe someone to be a hazard to themselves or others and you do nothing then you could be considered complicit in a lawsuit.

Well, the good news is she's been defanged a little. No more insistances taht she can drive and HER car this and HER car that.. she lorded it ofer folks when they needed to borrow it, she got pissy when the reffused to use it.

Oh she'll bite and fuss, but it is nice to able to say "No, you can't, and not because we're holding you prisoner or some fool notion, because you -can not'."

I don't want to rub it in her face, but it is good to have that card to play
