So - in Red Dwarf, a minor technician is tossed in the stasis brig for punishment. Accident happens, he is reawakened several millenia later

His pet cat was pregnant, and the Cat is the result of her offspring evolving into a sentient race

so

Cat Pooka, basically, and HILARIOUS

also, after bringing him out of stasis, the ship provides him with a hologram of a deceased crew member for companionship... it chooses a total smeghead and person he loathed the most

so - Lister is a stoner and a chav and generally lazy and working class

Rimmer, the hologram, is an uptight bootlicking prick

Of course it did. So...this poor man is in Sci Fi Hell 🙂

and the ship's computer, Holly, is insane.

So it's making Lexx look stable overall 🙂

Is the first tight? YES. they had to sew it on her. But at least she looked bad ass

That second attempt? It's like they have her offering peanuts

that outfit is dumb

that hat is extra dumb

And it makes no sense in character. She had a gun, why didn't she shoot whoever tried to make her dress in that second one?

And the bad part about acting is, as a general rule, you don't turn down a paying job.....

It did. It tried to get more serious on issues etc, but at the same time it did, it did it in a way that messed with what WORKED with the first season. It tried to make them more like the original BSG and Trek, which would be fine except it was a round peg in a square hole. they even got rid of Mel Blanc as Twiki's voice for a long time
