Okay, here is one of the reason I've been easy on House Liam... this is the Old flaw- Flaw: Because of their mortal affiliations, Liam sidhe begin with one extra point of permanent Banality. Furthermore, these sidhe are known as oathbreakers. No other changeling will honor their oathbonds, hospitality or justice. Liam fae are frequently the target of discrimination.

This is the C20 Flaw-flaW House Liam’s ties to mortals carry a price. Liam characters begin with one additional dot of Banality. Members of House Liam are also unable to Ravage for Glamour.

IIRC, CtD Liam can handle Banality better, too.

So it looks like they've downplayed the everyone spits on you as actual flaw part.

*So-so gesture* If C20 still has them called 'Oathbreakers' and has the shield as a blasted oak tree and keeps the House's backstory.... then ... spitting on them might be an implicit thing

"Their relationships with commoners tend to be positive, though few commoners swear allegiance to this house." is also mentioned

And of course,the C20 Rewrite has more Autumn Sidhe in House Liam. Which works for me, as Scathach shouldn't have em all to themselves 🙂

I bring this up, because I think I've had the Liam conversation 2 or 4 times now and while I understand by the old setting take I probably am too nice, the C20 does make it seems like in the past 20 years the House has washed a lot of the stigma off, or at least the persecution, and that's what I've been leaning towards. But don't worry, you'll still have Bigots who hate you even after they try to get your help. Likke folks who hate Mexican Americans but love Taco Tuesday.
