I chose to make a dress to fit my new size

like, a good 3-4 inches off the bust

I didn't make a mock-up

which is a "test" dress

Time consuming but often helpful.

Sizing down changes curves

set-in sleeves are persnickety

Lots of curves to match

long story short the sleevehead is about 3 inches bigger than the armscye. It's a lot to "ease" - so I think Imma sew them in by hand

The whole dress proved itself t be a bit looser than anticipated

I think I was ~180 last year?

but at 30 lbs, stuff stops fitting!!!

I don't remember what I was last year, but I know I'm 28 pounds down since April, so...yay. 🙂
