The three I took this last term, were all groups. All group work. And in my Deaf Culture class...I was the only one in the group who knew ASL. (ASL not required for the class).

The teacher used English, but he also signed. (He is deaf) But his English has a heavy Jamaican accent. He went deaf at 14.. so, I mainly watched his signing to understand the glass. Not sure how the others managed.

I am pretty bad with accents. Heh. I am glad he signed.

Unless the accent is Asian. But I think that's because my grandparents are Asian. I grew up hearing that accent.

I can’t stand Welsh. I don’t know why just something about it. I tried getting into Torcheood but that lady’s Cardiff vernacular drove me crazy.

Southern accents arn't hard for me. Unless its really heavy. But then I listen to context and get along okay.

Ik spreek een beetje Nederlands, maar ik ben nog steeds aan het leren. I grew up in the south as well but when I moved to the Appalachian region for a while that was a whole other can of worms accent wise
