*nod* I fry gyoza (dumplings) off from frozen for a bit of color and then steam them with stock to heat through.

I’d have made cucumber salad but treated myself to chicken gyoza

Hey, they cooked with vinegar today, that's a step!

And it gives enough liquid that I just scoop out the veggies with a slotted spoon to serve, and can reuse the liquid to make more the next day 🤤

Oh and I tossed in one tiny Thai 🌶️ for heat

I traded all the peppers in the recipes for a drop or two of Siracha; none of us are big on heat.

2/3 cup white vinegar

I use peppermint tea and just toss the bag in the water while it comes to a boil. Add the sugar and vinegar, and simmer until it's a syrup.

I might want to try that.

Adds a little kick to cold water, makes it quenchier.

I can see that. Vinegar = middle ages Gatorade. Hence, pickle juice.
