Grey can be very elegant.

Beige is boring, and can be appropriate, but lacks the elevation of grey.

Now somedays I get tired of orange. East TN where taht color is everywhere

I don't care for TN orange

but I do like earthy, spicy autumnal oranges.

Well, hunters need orange.

I also rather like orange and pink for summery looks

I like it as a kind of blend into another hue ... you know, if your'e doing a gradual yellow or red (either direction) and want just a bit of change.

I am fond of coral, which, well - orange & pink.

It really depends on the circumstances, situations, and goals.
