BUT DH and he both argued for something else, and I sympathized. I -wanted- him to go to the party, but I wanted consequences too.

SO.

It was agreed he'd work for me for a month on his play time.

This weekend was a test of that.

His room is STILL a wreck, his bathroom is NOT cleaned up, he didn't touch the loft, and he utterly half-assed the other work I asked him to do, which was really just sorting.

THREE DAYS of bupkis.

So I have rejected the original deal, and I'm going to work with DH to come up with an alternative arrangement.

I'm -seriously- considering keeping outside the pet-choice. Make him stay home or something.
