Only my rule is (pond rules allowing) if you're going to catch it, you eat it. And the kids refuse to fish under those rules b/c they don't want to eat fish. So.

We do sometimes go to a catch&release place; obvs. that's 'pond rules.'

Well, self-care. If you need down-time, you take it.

"I need to prepare for the week." is perfectly legit.

I am also tottering. Overdid it with the walking.

I probably sat down for maybe a half hour total at the event yesterday, to eat.

Yeah, that's too much. "As much as I'd love to, I overdid yesterday and I have to let my body rest."
