August and Cora are the main story

They're the main love interest to be sure.

But honestly I'm barely needed for that part. I haven't even posted in the last PBEM they've got going

So what elements are you missing and would like to have back?

Firnost is easy, as a chancellor she's can visit there often as a kind of ambassodor to FIrnost or for that matter to make sure that crazy place is safe so it doesn't spill over to endanger ER

firnost is all but dead save FLB right now

she just feels like an NPC. She doesn't really need to be played, she doesn't contribute anything. ER is very efficient and doesn't need her to do anything, Cora can handle it anyways, and August is consort so he'll be the go-to if Cora isn't around. She's basically divorced from Dubh, Caitir is well in hand, Colton is training bu it's more a background for what's going on with him and Sylvi, anyhow.

Okay. I would disagree that August is the go to when Cora isn't around. I've had NPCs fuss at him for over stepping. And when Coradel is out, Sparrow is in charge. Dubh? well, she sent him away, but for good reason- he's easily brought back though.

I appreciate how hard you've worked at finding side stories for her, but I don't know if she really needs to be played anymore

You're welcome, though I don't see them as side stories, at least not any more than what some of the others face.

I think part of the problem maybe that I tried to make a 'Truthbranch story' collective, and a danger to that is that naturally the 'mom and dad' might feel like they overshadow even if the 'kids' really do have their own thing.

To me, the Duke and Duchess summoning her for advice isn't a side story, it's not even a truthbranch thing. That's a trust Sparrow earned and it make her an influence in who will will arise and who might fall. They aren't asking Coradel, and they wouldn't even think of August

But it's on me if I'm shooting out stuff that doesn't interest.
