What exactly happened with the glitter, I think I misread it

Glitter was still all in Sylvi's clothes. She couldn't seem to get it out. Well, Bert had an idea, because, you know, Nockers fix problems. He offered to cast a cantrip to get it out. Sylvi agreed to let him try. He focuses using props to get JUST the glitter and... uhm.. while some did indeed pour out her sleeves and such...wile he focused on getting every bit in his hand... some of the glitter just went through the threads of her clothing.

Now he didn't see this, he was quite literally looking at his hand to make sure every particle got there instead of all over the floor or him. But ah, the next thing he knew, Sylvi was fleeing for the bathroom trods and he didn't know was wrong. He only came to visit her later to return her Wrinkle in time book which she had left behind.

Well, you ccan understand why Kerri and Sylvi were upset
