I did not read everything she wrote, but i was very fond of Wizard of Earthsea. Possibly because she got me while I was young. Pretty heavy stuff symbols and philosophy wise

I suggest a Wizard of Earthsea. I believe it was meant for young adults, but she certainly didn't assume her readers were dim

Heck yes.

I told Thing1's teacher (it is a Montessori school) that I reached to my own Montessori experience and reading to create it. I touch all the senses.

They watch the powerpoint, they hear the music, they touch the animal figures, fur, and so on, they smell the eucalyptus, they taste the food.
