well I had an adventure yesterday!

And yes - Z is much less apologetic now about being a gregarious romantic

it started at 6:30 am when I got picked up

wasn't told where we were going

ended up driving all the way to Lake Champlain/Ft. Ticonderoga, NY area to cisit the Star Trek Original Series Set Tour thing

THEN we cut east through Vermont to go to Tilton, NH so we could... firstly,.. eat at Hart's Turkey Farm

THEN we drom two miles (also in Tilton) to go to FunStop aka the American Classic Arcade Museum

I'm normally in Bristol, CT

ok!

so it was four hours to the stop in New York, another three or so to Tilton for dinner and then four hours and change to get home

all in all I didn't get home until just before midnight

the Turkey place? best turkey dinner I have ever had!

when I got some stuff boxed up to go we told the server we had a four hour drive to get home she said "From Connecticut, huh?" and we were like "Good guess1"

so she said "Usually when people say they live four hours away it's almost always CT"

quite an adventure!

I do envy the set visit just a bit

all in all I took like 90 pictures

Oh I would so want to sit in that Captain's chair just once

they were reworking some of the transporter set so we couldn't get pictures on the transporter pad, sadly

the restaurant had what I consider 'troll-sized' meals

like the 'Jumbo Turkey Plate'

it was an entiure pound of turkey as well as a ton of stuffing

oy

they mashed taters and stuff wouldn't fit on the plate so they had to be sides

you could get it as all white meat or daek meat if you wanted, too but all white cost extra

and they had this really bad ass pre-appetizer stuff too

it's "Carrot relish" and they had a little bit of it for every table to be eated on with saltines
