I hated Vegas

*grin* Well. It ISN'T for everyone's tastes.

of course when I went there I wasn't old enough for any of the real fun stuff

I have an appreciation for the kitchy.

also when I went there it was the early 80s

And you have to LOOK for things to do with kids. Really, better to get off the Strip and get into the weeds in Vegas for kids.

There's the science museum. Spent a Lot of time there.

I'm sure I'd like it a lot more now, though

Man they hated you if you were a teenager in the 80s though, Vegas that is. Too young to gamble, too old for them to find you cute and why are you allowed on the streets ?

*nod* Yep. They try, I think, to be more inclusive now. The child care issue is a tough nut to crack.

the casinos here in CT aren't really good places for kids either

unless they have a lot of money to spend in all the shops

but the casinos here are gorgeous

especially if you like Native American themed stuff

I remember some very SPECIFIC Loitering laws pretty much geared toward Teenagers back in the day. Was a running joke in the high school that police added a dollar per zit to the fine

Well, I wasn't there with teens.

Oh they had some good stuff for kids even back then IIRC. Circus Circus was really popular.
