I tried to go all did-it-myself for a while...but I just don't have the seamstress chops.

I do get salty, sometimes

my SCA garb is relatively easy stuff - I can crank out a dress in an afternoon

rectangular construction, lots of squares & triangles

but I ❤️ clothes, so will compliment people with good garb, right?

Mmm...I have to work on some armor stuff this week, but maybe I'll find time for a dress....

Most people are nice about it, say thanks, what have you. But then there are the ones that use that as an opening to lecture me about my garb...
