It would be a surprise attack, if not for a Beaumayn prophet warning the Queen that she was about to have it seized from her, or would she be willing to let House Beuamayn stake its claim instead, fight them off.... and in exchange allow that land to be used by a more commoner friendly house. Being a bad ass bitch, she demands a feew more concessions, and then tells the Beaumayn to go for it! the invading Nobles of Nessturia (still can't spell that) arrive in their trods only to find a King of Beaumayn, commoners really pissed at the invasion attempt, and selveral local nobles all ready for them pulling off a fighto n the trods themselves and ready to go 300. Quebec is saved, and the Queen of Northern ICE declares Autonomy (With provisos) for Quebec as a Principality or Arch Duchy..with its ruler being known as Dauphin. 2005 David returns, and tired does not protest this change.
