Was asking people their take on buying certain Merits post-character creation. Not things like Winged or Regeneration -- but things that could be plausibly 'dicovered' by a character later, like Crack Shot, Crack Driver, or Lightning Calculator. Like Rae said, "Pynki could have Merits that make her a terrific artist, but she won't know if she never picks up a paintbrush."

Since you can buy OFF Flaws, and some people in forums have said buying Merits like 'Underworld Contacts' can be justified via play, what do you think about buying those, at x2 or x3 point value with XP, if it can be explained ICly?

In this case, buying Ice 'Crack Driver' since he JUST got his first dot in Drive last month, has been driving in New York, and just got his license a week ago.

It's a 1-pt Merit, I think.
