My cat had green ticks in her ears when I got her from the shelter. I imagine you could mislabel them as 'lice'.

We do get a lot of that. "He's diabetic so I'm feeding him diabetic food." Ohh, he was diagnosed? No, I just know.

Lice are white.

That was hilarious.

My pet mouse escaped and fell off the table into the cat bed. The cat looked at it, then looked at me sadly, like she couldn't get in the bed now. The mouse was using it.
