Ugh. OKay, point. Seriously, I find it hard to believe with your skills there isn't better. I mean, I'm a dropout doing paperwork, and make a bit more than that.

Well. *shrug* I have put in dozens of applications, I have been on half a dozen or so interviews, I -did- get a job and I have gotten another I'm going to take a pay cut for.... But nothing on salary.

Or it could just be the job market where you are right now. Believe me, looking at what's available on CL while looking for PT work, I'm surprised at how people can live off what's there.

I see them being offered, along with classes in Quickbooks, Excel, and so on. You could probably get an office job after a few of those.

I just don't. I ate those antacids already in recruiting service.

I know, I hated sales, too. Cold calls, worst.

One of the first things I looked at and actually started the process on was life insurance sales.

Mick fully supported me STOPPING that process.

But...what about learning Quickbooks and so on, a few accounting basics? Entry-level office work still gives you benefits.

I mean, if you're going to wear makeup anyway....

Just kind of throwing stuff out there, see if anything sticks. Willing to help look for certification classes online.

No numbers. No. Mick is doing that; getting cert for bookkeeping.

I didn't mean numbers, I meant more of, spreadsheets, data entry, etc. I have the same disability, and still manage to work with a calculator's help.

You might have it worse, though.
