I think I see why Zara wants both. Earl appeals to her Seelie half, Ice to her Unseelie.

I admit, OOCly, I'd be curious to see Zara's response to him with another girl, but no not a Gigolo

Of course....the whole reason for this sexism, according to one teacher I've spoken to, is the idea that women will give up their careers for having children.

I'd agree. But you can also understand why, in cases where a professor has to invest a lot in mentoring a student, they might have been burned and gotten wary.

Not saying it's right, but it's the kind of subconscious calculation people do.
