To Recap: After Jusan calls Billman, the dead marine, he's informed the three that Murph was taken by THE Shisa, the Guardians of the Celestial Temple, and being interrogated for stealing one of their "Children". Madame Jusan believes that there's nothing that they can do, but Billman suggests Jimmy Hendrix the street bum can help. Jusan dismisses Billman after he calls her a jilted lover. An awkward silence fills the room before Jusan speaks up in a whisper* Well, perhaps if the Shisa won't come to you, you can come to the Shisa. *A sigh

*She paces back and forth a moment, her fan betraying her furious embarassment at Billman's words. After another moment she looks to Beth, her eyes narrowed Tell me child....is your father still alive?

She blinks at the sluagh. "Of course he is, my mother too." Her head tilts. "What do they have to do with it?" Her own eyes narrowed slightly.

Her fan flaps lazily* Your Story you told about the horse your father made for you... treasure it, and be glad it's all I asked for. *She looks to the table with the dross that Tyler had given her, then speaks to him I cannot help you any further. If you seek Jimmy's help, you may use my name, but be warned, you may not like where he takes you. *She turns her back to the two, slinking back towards the beaded curtain leading to the back area. Good night, young whipporwills.

She bows to Jusan, not wanting to be rude. It's almost automatic, natural for her to do so. Then she looks back to Tyler, clearly she has questions. She gestures towards the way they came, one brow raised. "I suppose we should talk to Jimmy?"

*He stretches for a moment before nodding to her, offering to go first again as he wriggles into the hole As he makes his way in, Beth can feel that she's still being watched. This time around the freakish little chimerae aren't as confrontational, escorting them back, perhaps greatful for the jerky BEth gave them earlier? Either way the crawlway under the brothel doesn't seem as bad this time around. Once they get back to the courtyard one of the phillipina women from before opens the gate for them. Tyler thanks them with a tip before taking a deep breath That... on one hand, not very fruitful, but on the other hand I think she likes you, Beth.

She watches the strange chimera and does her best not to so how she feels about them. Rats. Really? She gives a deep nod of her head to the Phillipina lady. Then she looks to Tyler. "She did? Fascinating." She frowns slightly, perhaps remembering something. "She mentioned that you and Murphy weren't on the best of terms...before?"

I thought for certain she would take your horse, you must have pulled a string in whatever it is she calls a heart. *He clears his throat at her question. How long have you travelled with "Murph"? Hm? Have you noticed that he always manages to attract some sort of trouble, usually of his own making? I mean look at the situation we're in right now: About to talk to some crazy homeless guy to see if we can storm the gates of some Celestial Palace because Murphy stole something. Again. *They're at the end of the alley now, the hustle and bustle of Gate2 Street seeping into the darkness. Tyler folds his arms I stopped travelling with him after he wanted to "use" my Sight.

I was a little older than you at that point.. but he's got some mother issues, Beth. I think he resents me for not being able to talk to her. I said that wasn't how it worked for his people but then he started talking about something called "The Black Paths of Balor" and that's when I knew this wasn't helping anybody.

Her head tilts again, a cascade of dark hair flowing over one shoulder. She gives a bit of a smile. Even in the middle of a "rescue" she seems to find some humor in something. "But Tiger..." said with a jovial wink. "Eshu, all eshu, find trouble or interest, wherever they go."

Then she looks thoughtful again. "But why, if he did all that, did you invite him back to play"?"

*A small huff from the Troll Kin You do share his blood. It's all fun and games until he's relying on you to clean up his messes. *He thinks on her question He told me he fired his agent and...I know his fingers get sticky when his money gets tight..I thought I was helping to prevent more trouble a small smirk* I guess that's MY blood, showing. Also It's been some years, I wasn't sure how much longer he was gonna be around for. They're very delicate things, aren't they? The Fae.

She nods a bit at his last comment. "They tend to burn short and bright. At least we have the chance to glow for a little while." She pats him on the shoulder. "Thank you for trying to keep him out of trouble. He needs it." She looks about, perhaps looking for Jimmy....though she knows where to go.

It's funny, he's much older than me but he's spent so much time in freeholds you'd think we were the same age. *Sure enough the melodious sounds of a jangly cover of "C'mon Baby Light my Fire" can be heard on the wind. As they round the corner Jimmy's parked by the Yakitori food stand, sitting on the sidewalk as three servicemen in civilian clothes cheer him on. As the song finishes he speaks FUCK YOU GIMME A DOLLAR! *The servicemen laugh and hand him some money before they move on. He wads up the bills, not bothering to count them, before they go into his ratty blazer. Looking up he cracks a smile to Beth and Tyler, speaking to them in Japanese Well well well if it isn't my pretty Gypsy lady....and she brought a pet Tiger! *He laughs, Tyler meanwhile clears his throat again and furrows his brow

*Tyler speaks Jimmy, I know we haven't been on the best of t- *Jimmy interrupts him Tiger how rude! Let the lady speak first, I think she knows what she wants to ask me now. *He sips from his weird jug You didn't know what it was last time we first met, hm? heh.

"No, I did not know then. I think I know now." She blinks. "How do I get Murphy back from the Shisa?" She just asks straight forward. Well, straight forward in her prettily accented Japanese. "Jusan said you might know."

*He chokes on a swig of his weird jug at all the name-drops. It runs down his shirt but he don't care, he's laughing too hard, his ratty mustache dripping wet Murphy?! ohohoho it's much funnier when you say it out loud! Murph you baka bluesman *Tyler glances over at Beth, skeptical. Jimmy continues Weeeeeell you're in luck lady because *He looks about before leaning in close I'm a powerful Wizard, I can take you there. *Another swig from the jug Not gonna be easy though, gonna need some heavy duty stuff, can't just stroll up to the spirit world. Me? I deal with the spirit of the City, can't go too far, you'll have to get the ingredients. *A well dressed businessman passes by. Jimmy drinks from the jug again FUCK YOU GIMME A DOLLAR! *The man stops, taking out a wallet and hands Jimmy 100 yen, the equivalent of a dollar. Jimmy looks at it and laughs* This is 10,000 yen what are you DRUNK?! *The man blinks and chuckles with an apology and thank you, taking back the Y100 and giving him an Y10,000 note instead before walking away. Jimmy holds up the note to Beth and Tyler with a wink

She blinks at the laughing then seems to be slightly amused herself. She raises her brow at the "Baka bluesman.." That's something she has hear before. "Spirit world? Heavy duty stuff? Ingredients?" She does not even ask about the wizard stuff... will worker? Maybe? Didn't Murpy say it was best to stay away from those? Then she watches the yen trade off. She blinks and looks at the bill. "Well...that's useful."

*He nods to her The City is home to many old Spirits..ixaT, Ped Xing, Gimmedol'lar..they're hidden names, but they hold great power. *His smile has faded, his demeanor more serious now If you want me to take you to the Shisa, I will need three items: One, A bottle of Habu Sake, BUT you cannot pay for it. No cheating by getting it from your bar, Tiger, I'll know. Two, a branch from the tree of Princess Beadle. And three....*he takes a long swig I'll need two handfuls of dirt from Kuronbo Gama. *The word is strange to Beth, but seems to roughly translate to "Cave of the Dark Skinned Boys". Tyler is offended and lets out a hiss This isn't funny anymore old man! *Jimmy raises a hand to Tyler and nods I didn't say it was going to be easy, Tiger. If you want your friend back, that is what I'll need. *He takes another swig Take your time, I'm in no rush. *Tyler is fuming, but something catches his eye. Following his line of sight, Beth can't see anything. Another spirit, perhaps? Now Jimmy is looking in the same direction too and chuckles.* Ooo aren't you scary! *He looks to Beth, curious What? You can't see him? Those glasses of yours are broken *He points to her shades May I see them a moment?

She listens to the list of items. A bottle sake should not be to hard. A branch of a tree? She tilts her head and dirt? Well Auntie does need odd stuff for her potions at times. Then she blinks. "Huh?" And she look in the same direction as Tyler and Jimmy...then takes the glasses off her head to offer them to Jimmy. Clearly they are not as important as the horse?

*Tyler frowns to Jimmy Murphy was my guest and responsibility, we'll try to get these things in a prompt manner but I swear to you Jimmy if this is just a game I'll shove this whole Yakitori stand up your ass. *Jimmy nods seriously to Tyler before the smile snaps back on as Beth hands over her glasses. He fogs the lenses up with his breath before wiping them "clean" with his dirty shirt. He hands them back to Beth. When she puts them back on the streets seem a bit more crowded. Some of the people are just standing still. Some of them are standing still several feet above the ground. They have a shimmer, and when she looks closer Beth realizes it's because they're somewhat transparent. Glancing at where Jimmy and Tyler were looking reveals a small six year old japanese boy with a massive gash on his forehead. He waves before making a goofy scary face

"Oohwaa.." Is the response to the new form of sight she now has. She blinks a few times to make sure. "I thought the street was busy before." Muttered to Jimmy. "You see this all the time?" She lifts the glasses away, taking in the real world and the dreaming as she sees them always, then she settles the glasses again. Its almost like playing with different camera lenses.

*Sure enough, her fae sight is dimmer now when she wears the glasses. Most of the spirits don't seem to notice her unless she watches them for long enough.. best snapchat glasses ever! #HauntedInstagramFilter Tyler looks between Beth and the boy before raising an eyebrow to Jimmy Don't go too far old man, we'll be seeing you soon..We should regroup at my bar, Beth. *He studies her, making sure she's not too overwhelmed

"Yeah .... regroup...." She is still looking around. Not seeming scared, not really. Perhaps a touch nervous? But not frightened. She does start to move though, without to much prodding. "Thanks Jimmy for the new windows."

*He waves back to her with a chuckle Have fun while it lasts! *Another laugh as he starts to plunk away on his sanshin again, a group of polite servicemen with loads of disposable income suddenly coming around the corner to see him almost as if they were summoned. Tyler's still keeping an eye on Beth, turning back every few feet to make sure she's still following Don't let them distract you Beth, most are just curious..*He offers her a hand Just a few blocks to The Crazy Horse.

She takes his hand, perhaps not trusting herself to stay mobile on her own. It is a little over whelming, amazing. "Sorry Tiger, I'll keep up." She takes a deep breath and tries to focus, the bar, don't pay too much attention...don't want to attract trouble after all!

*They walk steadily the rest of the way, the small Japanese boy following them for a few blocks before disappearing. Tyler attempts a joke Well, at least you can take them off, I'm stuck with these eyes.
