**The driver turns on the radio, a jaunty tune about Orion beer blasts from the speakers as he weaves through traffic. Passing by the same coastal road as before, the Pacific's blue waters contrast with the white cliffs of the island. Making a sudden left, the honcho rockets up through the foothills of Ginowan. Off in the distance the Marine corps air station can be seen now, situated on a neighboring plateau. The road eventually starts to get more "rural", the surrounding jungle starting to close in on the road. Eventually however, they reach the top of one of the hills to discover Futenma Shinto Shrine. The Main entrance is up a flight of stairs, giving it a rather commanding view of the valley below, Shisa statues flank the stairs and a multitude of signs surround the entrance warning of staying on the main path and to not explore the nearby caves.
