*Checking his watch I'm supposed to be getting an Orion shipment later this afternoon and I still need to clean up from last night. *Looking to her If you wanted to kill some time before we meet her, I would suggest the beaches..there's also a Sega World in the neighboring town, three stories of arcade if you like that. *Trying to think of other suggestions

"I think I will just wander. I am good at that. I will be back late afternoon. I don't want to miss sundown, or the ally." She gives a bright smile and then has to tease. "Its been a while since I have enjoyed a sundown with a sluagh or another kin." She winks and heads for the door.

*He nods back to her stoically, going to work on some dirty glasses

And out the door she goes, not seeming to worried about finding her way back. She pushes her glasses into place and looks about. There were some interesting characters last night. Her brow furrows. Perhaps someone saw something? Perhaps she could find out a little more?

She sighs and the hat goes back on her head. She follows the sound of the shanshin music first, as she did not get to inspect the source of it as closely as she wanted the night before. Then the building will come after. Eyes. Such a strange thing for folks to paint.

*Sitting in a doorway, a large jug by his feet, Jimmy Hendrix plays a snakeskin sanshin. Dirty jeans and boots, a dirtier green shirt underneath a ratty blue and yellow blazer, his white curly hair mostly crammed into a red toque, it's hard to place exactly how old this crazy bat actually is. He's either ancient, or has just had a really rough time on the streets. He's singing "Come on baby light my fire" in broken english

She watches him for a long while. In America she would leave him a few coins, but she knows that does not fly very well in Japan. Instead she stops near him. "Rough night?" Asked in Japanese.

*As people pass by he seems to only know two phrases: "My name is Jimmy Hendrix" and "Fuck you give me a dollar!" when Beth speaks to him in Japanese he just laughs at her I must be drunk if you're speaking Japanese, what blew you here, Gypsy woman?

"The winds, of course." Said to the old man. Or what seems to be an old man. "You must see interesting things, being out on this street such as you are."

From down here? Mostly butts. *He takes a swig from his big ol' jug, plunking out a couple chords on what amounts to a three-string banjo This city has seen many things over many years little one, the troops come and they go, painting the walls with their dreams. *Another swig why did you bring the sun with you?

She chuckles at his answer of butts. "The sun with me?" She shakes her head. "No. I think it just goes were it wants. Has nothing to do with me."

*Shaking his head in disagreement With that attitude, sure. You don't know what to ask me yet, you're too early, just like this sun. *He scowls at it, trying to ward it off with another sip of the jug

She tilts her head and looks to the sun, then back to the old man. Then she steps in its way. "Do you really want a dollar?" An earnest question, and a curious one. "And I do know what I want to ask you. Did you see anything strange last night? Stranger than usual that is?"

*He smiles to her I Won't say no to a pretty Gypsy like you. *He smiles revealing cracked teeth I saw lots of strange things. I saw the Crazy Horse was busy, that's most crazy! You're friends with the new owner? He's a good boy.

"I suppose I am friends with the new owner. He seems like a good guy." She is digging through he pockets of her skirt. She knows she has it somewhere. "Was it busy? Is it not usually busy?" Then she finds it. A silver dollar. She offers it out to the old man. Perhaps it will get a kick out of it.

*He turns the coin over a few times, biting into it like an old-timey prospector. That place was a pit! Always the police were there, breaking up fights, bad chi. *He spits on the ground A cancer on the city and her honor. Your friend buying it was best thing to happen. *He studies her some more That's not what you ask though.. You lost something didn't you? Hm?

She nods. "I did loose something. Will not a something, a some one. And I would very much like to get him back. Do you know something others may not?"

*He smiles to her before shaking his head All I know is that you're pretty, and I'll buy you a drink *Holding up the coin she just gave him My treat? I'll keep listening to the City

If he is offering the coin, she takes it back. She gives the old man a smile. "You keep doing that. Perhaps next time I will bring the sun perhaps a drink too."

*He winks to her before he starts playing that god awful sanshin some more Never forget your pal Jimmy Hendrix pretty gypsy!
